Male and female pattern hair loss: Treatable and worth treating

Pattern hair loss is the most common type of in both men and women. Scalp typically affected a characteristic distribution without other scalp or dermatologic findings. Early recognition treatment can help halt its progression to preserve as much possible. Both pharmacologic nonpharmacologic treatments have proven helpful.
